Terms of Use

Agreement and Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to accept these Terms of Use to use Drafty. Creating a Drafty profile requires you to expressly accept these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your verified email secure.
Acceptable Use
Do not use Drafty to plan, facilitate, solicit, promote, conceal, or carry out unlawful activity. This includes illegal drug sales or trafficking, unlawful weapons activity, human trafficking or exploitation, child sexual exploitation, terrorism or violent-extremist activity, fraud, credible threats of violence, stalking, harassment, impersonation, spam, or infringement of another person’s rights. Do not attempt to bypass safety controls, abuse verification systems, or interfere with the service.
Private Live Sessions
Drafty is designed for one-to-one live sessions between accepted Drafties. Live text is temporary and is designed to disappear when a session ends. Drafty does not guarantee that another participant has not copied, photographed, recorded, or otherwise retained information you share. You remain responsible for what you write and for information you choose to disclose.
Screenshots and Screen Capture
Another participant may photograph, screenshot, record, mirror, or share what appears on their device. When iOS reports a screenshot or active screen capture during a Draft, Drafty is designed to end that Draft automatically and identify the capture event to the participants. Drafty cannot prevent a capture that has already occurred or guarantee that every capture will be detected. Do not share information you would not want another person to retain.
Safety, Enforcement, and Lawful Requests
Drafty may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms or threaten users, the service, or the public. Drafty may preserve necessary safety or account records and may respond to valid legal requests from competent authorities as required by applicable law. The temporary nature of Draft content does not give users a right to use Drafty to evade lawful investigation or accountability.
Service Availability
Drafty may change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, improve the service, or address technical issues. Drafty does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that temporary content can never be retained by a participant, device, operating system, or third party outside Drafty’s control.
No Emergency Service
Drafty is not an emergency, medical, legal, or crisis service. Contact the appropriate local emergency service when immediate assistance is required.
Account Closure
You may delete your account inside Settings. Drafty may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations of these terms. Certain records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or applicable legal obligations.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates, subject to any mandatory rights or rules that apply in the place where you use the service.
